Vintage French Turquoise Blue Rim Bistro Saucer 5"

This listing is for a mid-century porcelain cafe saucer — a lovely example of French decor tableware. This is a lovely turquoise with a gold accent and the classic "50" (francs) marking in the center, giving it that old-school French charm. In early 20th century Parisian cafe culture, waiters brought drinks on these saucers as a method to calculate your tab. (Documented in "A Moveable Feast," Ernest Hemingway's memoir of Paris.)
